This is an important and exciting time in history to be alive. God is doing amazing things around the world and He invites you and me to join Him! Jesus said in John 4:34-35, “As you look around right now, wouldn’t you say that in about four months it will be time to harvest? Well, I’m telling you to open your eyes and take a good look at what’s right in front of you. These…fields are ripe. It’s harvest time!” (The Message) These words could not be more relevant or powerful than they are for us today.
New Life Providence (NLP) is wholeheartedly committed to Jesus’ Great Commission mandate to “make disciples of all nations.” These are our marching orders and the ultimate expression of our transethnic vision—“every tribe, tongue and nation.” We have global workers advancing the Gospel among some of the least reached peoples of the world in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. We are committed to mobilizing and releasing our congregation for even greater impact. How are we doing this?
- By praying for and financially supporting our outstanding global worker force around the world.
- By identifying, raising up, and training new global workers from within our congregation through New Life School of Missions (NLSOM) and other equipping venues.
- By sending hundreds from our congregation every year on a wide variety of short-term global expeditions.
- By mobilizing every member for meaningful involvement in God’s global cause through prayer, missions equipping and awareness events, and international student ministry throughout the year.
“Many small people, who in many small places, do many small things, can alter the face of the world.”
These words were inscribed on the Berlin wall after the wall came down and communism collapsed around the world.
God invites us to be world changers. Will you join us?
